I don't get why other people don't do things the way I do. They key is to be especially insistent about stuff people need but they don't know it until they try it. I don't think that I am better than others but I felt uncomfortable. After a few minutes and them talking to us when they came up for food I realized they are such great people and I was humbled. I still left feeling a little uneazy but I know God is working within me to make me let thoughts like that go. Way to go to being Honest Kurt not many of us can actually say how we felt when it wasn't so favorable. Every time I ever went down we had to bring a food van and one time, we had to break down a house in San Diego so that we had some building supplies. I also fell through the roof of that house. No matter what happens, it always was a great experience. But after reading your post and thinking about the three or four trips I took, it just makes me want to take a shower.
